The Rhone-Alpes region is extremely attractive to new investors because it is a melting pot of people and cultures with a wealth of heritage. Continental, alpine and Mediterranean; the geography of the Rhone-Alpes gives its residents a variety of landscapes unique only to France. It also has many fantastic buildings by contemporary architects such as the Opera renovated by Jean Nouvel and the sixty fountains on the place des Terreaux. There are so many different styles represented here that residents are hard pressed to feel neglected in any way. There are the timber chalets in the Alps, the white stone of Tricastin and the cob and daub and wattle of the Dombes and Dauphiné. Among the hundreds of villages with character in the region, a place to call home is not hard to find.
