The Island of Ciovo is only about 2 km from mainland Cape Marjan and is a wonderful place to settle down. On the northwest part of the Island is the bascule bridge whcih connects Ciovo to the mainland directly. There are also several wonderous caves on this Island, the most prominent being Bilosaj and "Annie's Pit". The atmosphere is very fresh and appealing to local residents. On the northern side of the island are forests of pine and cypress. Besides the town of Trogir, there are several villages: Arbanija, Zedno, Okrug and Gornji and there are even some cute little hamlets like Slatine and Prizidnica. The western part of the island, especially in Saldun Bay, there are some extremely colorful sand and pebble beaches. This is a great little place to settle down.
